Free Weekend Parking Pilot Program
at Maple Ridge Business Centre
As part of the City’s Be Downtown strategy to attract more residents and visitors to the Town Centre, the City invited downtown visitors from April 23 - October 31, 2025 to enjoy free weekend underground parking at the Maple Ridge Business Centre (MRBC), located at 22470 Dewdney Trunk Road.
The MRBC parkade offers 384 public spaces and is within walking distance of Memorial Peace Park, the ACT Arts Centre, the Leisure Centre, and numerous local shops and restaurants.
The launch coincided with major community events, including Celebrate Earth Day, the Haney Farmers Market kickoff, and the return of Social Saturdays.
Parking details during the pilot program:
- Free parking on weekends (no registration or license plate entry required)
- EV stalls: Free with registration; 4-hour limit
- Hours: 5:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m. (no overnight parking)
