Maple Ridge Tourism Survey
As part of the City's commitment to improving resident and visitor experience, we are excited to launch a Net Promoter Score (NPS) and Customer Satisfaction Survey (CSAT) to measure resident and visitor satisfaction with tourism offerings in Maple Ridge and the likelihood of recommending Maple Ridge as a tourist destination.
Part of our overall strategy is to become a highly sought-after location in British Columbia and all of Canada. A satisfactory travel, location, and customer experience for visitors and residents is crucial to achieving this.
The NPS and CSAT surveys allow us to assess customer loyalty and sentiments towards tourism in Maple Ridge and make informed decisions to enhance customer experiences.
Purpose
This engagement will help shape the future of Maple Ridge as a desired location for travelers, investors, residents, and visitors.
The findings will:
- Define baseline: The survey will highlight the current quality of visitor experiences, define excellent customer service culture, and create positive visitor interactions.
- Provide clarity: NPS and CSAT provide a clear snapshot of the visitor experience, which directly impacts our economic growth. By understanding visitor satisfaction, we can make informed decisions that enhance the quality of our tourism offerings, attract more visitors, and ultimately boost local economy.
- Support Decision-Making: Enable evidence-based decisions that enhance tourist experiences and drive economic growth.
- Ensure Sustainability: Promote a welcoming visitor and resident culture to ensure the continued advancement of our tourism segments.
Why Your Participation Matters
Tourism is an important driver of economic growth and community development. Your participation in the survey will help us understand the current perception of the tourist activities and attractions in Maple Ridge. That way, we can identify our strengths and address areas for improvement, enhancing the overall tourism experience for travelers, visitors, and residents. This, in turn, will increase the likelihood of positive word-of-mouth recommendations and encourages return visits to Maple Ridge.
By promoting our community's beauty, unique experiences, and vibrant spirit, we position our city as a thriving, attractive destination that connects people, draws in visitors, retains residents, and grows steadily as a top tourist hotspot; thereby, improving the economy of Maple Ridge. In essence, your feedback will help us:
- Assess Public Perception: Understand how residents, visitors, and investors perceive our tourism offerings.
- Guide Strategic Decisions: Provide insights that will inform decisions on improving tourist experiences, fostering collaborations, and driving innovations.
- Promote Sustainable Growth: Support our strategic segments—Adventure Hub, Urban Hotspots, and Farm Fresh—in their sustainable advancement.
